Panasonic Debuts Advanced A4 Document-Management Workstation

Compact, Productivity-Optimized DP-MB350 Offers High-Speed Networked Print/Copy/Scan/Faxing

October 29, 2009 --

SECAUCUS, NJ -- (Marketwire) -- 10/29/09 -- Panasonic System Networks Company of America (PSNA) today announced release of the DP-MB350, a low maintenance, high ROI 35ppm(1) monochrome A4 printer/copier, full-color scanner and super G3 fax machine featuring plug-and-play networking via onboard Ethernet or USB interfaces.

Designed to meet the extreme regular workday and crunch-time document-handling requirements of today's high-pressure, minimally staffed office environments, the DP-MB350 is productivity and efficiency optimized with such features as a 3.6-inch color LCD for simplified device operation and incoming fax previews, a 50-sheet auto-reversing document feeder, automatic stackless duplexing, a junk-fax filter and a compact, high-performance print engine with zero scheduled maintenance requirements.

"The DP-MB350 is more than a breakthrough MFP that prints, copies, scans, networks and faxes as well or better than the vast majority of standalone products in its class," said Joseph Odore, Panasonic product specialist for MFP/FAX. "It also performs a myriad of important enterprise functions not directly related to document processing.

"The DP-MB350's space-saving footprint reduces office desk and floor-space requirements, its fax preview and junk-mail filtering deliver substantial cost savings by reducing toner and paper usage and its easily accessible, end-user-replaceable 20,000 print drum units and 8,000 page-yield toner capacity increase uptime."

Other significant DP-MB350 features include 1200dpi maximum print resolution, 9600dpi maximum scanner resolution, a 520-sheet paper feed tray, Panasonic Network Device Monitor technology for remote IT device management, triple-option (PDF, JPEG, TIFF) scan-to-email functionality, Quick ID Copy, booklet mode, N in 1 printing of up to 16 originals on a single sheet, and "paperless" fax forwarding to email addresses, PCs and FTP servers.

Suggested retail price of the DP-MB350, which ships with Panasonic Quick Image Navigator, READiris Pro 7.0 OCR software and Twain and WIA drivers, is $1,995*.
